We have known Dot since the 1970’s. We have very happy memories of Dot as our lovely next door neighbour for a number of years when we lived in Kenmore Road, Kenley. Dot then worked for one of the large Banks. We were able to visit Dot for tea and cake when she moved to Dormansland and by that time we were living in the neighbouring village of Lingfield. We kept in touch every Christmas with Dot and Charles when they moved to Dorset. She was a very kind and gentle lady who adored and was dearly adored by her family and loved by her many friends. She was a lover of animals and her cats and at one time helped out in a local vets. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
